Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies by Catherine Mack

1.5

This just was not for me which is odd to say since I normally love these types of books. I like footnotes in my nonfiction reads but to do it in a fiction book is just weird. It doesn't work and it takes away from the actual story, in my opinion.

I couldn't connect to the main character, or any other characters for that matter, and that kinda of ruins the experience for me. It also makes it hard to care about anything happening.

And is there a thing as too much dialogue? I feel like if there is, this book has it...

Thanks St. Martin's Press for an ARC. All opinions are mine.
