The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Did not finish book. Stopped at 74%.
I do not know who this book is for...someone who likes to read about politics in a non existing world and that being amost the only content and therefore servicing as the plot?
I early on realised that this was not a romantasy book, which was not a deal breaker for me, but I still have to feel something if there is a love interest introduced and with this there was just nothing not even tension. And it was also the kind of bully romance where the guy is "kicking down"(I do not know how to describe this power balance/bully "romance").
My preference when it comes to any kind of relationship I like the MC to have(found family, tight friendships or literally anything else) also played a part in me not finishing this book(or else I would have rated it 0.75/5 stars to the point I read it) but there also were not enough fantasy aspects(e.g. the cruel fae being boring and not multi-faceted) in the book for a fantasy book except from the "politics".
