Rainbow's Yellow Book of Poetry by Lily Lawson, Lily Lawson

5.0

I happily opened my copy of Rainbow’s Yellow Book of Poetry by Lily Lawson, because I’ve enjoyed the previous two poetry collections – Red and Orange – so much.

Being a short book, it’s easy to finish Yellow in one sitting, although it would also be a lovely book to delve into one poem at a time. In fact, it’s one of those joyful reads that you could easily return to when you needed a dose of wisdom.

As with Red and Orange, this is a great collection of poems. Each one is relatable, heartfelt and wonderfully crafted. My favourite is The Chair of Life.
