Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex
by Michael Todd
Overall the content of the book is pretty useful regardless of your faith, if you prefer visual stimulation over reading the entire series is available on the Transformation Church YouTube channel in a series of preaches. The content is almost entirely identical so you are not missing out by watching the series as opposed to reading the book.
It is written very colloquially which makes it easily comprehensible, the anecdotes and stories are good illustrations of his points which I enjoy.
However, while I was down for the message of the whole book Uncle Pastor Mike lost me right at the end where he made distinctions of the needs of the partners based on sex difference. While I could’ve swallowed that because while I disagree, we do live in a world that confuses biological differences with the sociological constructs of gender. He really lost me on the wild info about men needing sex... we all need a nut it’s not unique in men and that sociological view is why too many Christian women have weird relationships to sex even within their marriages.
