Captain Jack West Jnr and his cohort of international super soldiers are on a long term mission across the 7 wonders of the ancient world to prevent either the apocalypse or the US/Europe maintain power for the next 1000 years.
It has been over a decade since I last read this! And overall gets 3 stars. It was largely enjoyable but really really stretched any sort of believable-ness even for a book about a 2,000 year old prophecy and shadowy cults. Also definitely of its time in some of the geopolitics/descriptions of people. If you want to read/listen to a typical action movie in book form this is it! How does this all happen in 7 days??
