Canes and Scales: the Novel is a completely different animal than the novella. It's re-written, re-edited and is 350 pages long.

I'm not sure why Goodreads is not listing the 2nd edition. Hopefully this wlll be sussed out!

The release date of the novel is tomorrow, July 11th.
