This was a fun read and I loved the concept! A couple of moments in the first half were predictable, the characters were pretty flat, and I didn't *totally love* the ending (though, I don't know what I would've wanted instead), but I think the concept and story were unpacked very well. Topics of identity and work/life balance were grazed ever so slightly without taking away from the story for even a second. I think this is a good first foray into sci-fi. I kept thinking that this book would do extremely well as a mini-series on TV, I'd watch the heck out of it!
