I loved Fern on Taskmaster, but didn't know she had a book! This was great, and I'm really glad I listened to the audiobook. It's a testament to how strong a writer and narrator she is that I accidentally listened to the first half of it at 80% speed but was still completely interested. It was a tough listen at parts, but I loved how honest and vulnerable she was. A great balance of moving and reflective and funny. Parts of it were deeply relatable to my late-diagnosed ADHD lady self, and other parts of it were the kind of material that I feel is so important to engage with in terms of the work I do/ population I work with to make sure I'm still working within my values and am person-centred. Also, I lol-ed so many times. Fern! What a legend.
