Well paced action adventure set in a well thought out world with interesting powers and even more interesting people. From the hard to read (lovable) a-hole that is Kaz Brekker tonl the sweet and adorable yet strong Wylan, these characters grip your heart and tense then relax your muscles with their witty jokes and dumb behavior.

I deeply enjoyed the experience of reading this book and the experience of being with the characters every step of the way to their goal. I found myself kicking my feet either from anger or glee over the actions the characters committed or the actions committed to the characters as they walked through the well built world of the grisha verse.

While not perfect I found it fun to read and suspend some of my issues and even easier to look and focus on the best parts of the book itself easily making it much more likable then some of the other books around.

If you are looking for a fun read with good and fun characters in a well built world this is perfect for you! However, if you are looking for a an amazing book that rivals other more renowned books of the genre then it may not be the best to pick up.
