Not really a fantasy fan. I enjoyed Wheel of Time and what little I've read of Game of Thrones.
This book surprisingly hooked me. It lacks some details that left me scratching my head. To me dragons would be the size of a house, not just slightly bigger than a man and it really took me a long time to wrap my head around the ideas.
Still, it was fast paced, had some clever twists to it and it ends in a manner where I don't feel obligated to read rest of the series which is always a plus.
