I understand how this can seem like an episode of My 600lb Life but I think there’s something far more tragic about this play. Instead of the exploitation of a man consumed by his addictions and circumstance, we see through the eyes of a Mormon, teenaged girl, and home health nurse how it is not just a single person who drowns in the belly of Jonah’s whale.
