Audio Book - It seems I jumped into this series with Book 3. This is the first book I have read fron this author. It took a while for me to warm up to the narrator, and once his voice settled for me, it was plain sailing so to speak. I liked the main characters, but would want to read the previous 2 books just to get to know them and their backgrounds a little better. The fact that there were no jaded/hard drinking/rule breaking/baggage carrying detectives as the main characters was a breath of fresh air. The plot was solid and and the story moved along at a good pace.
