Burning Crowns
by Katherine Webber, Catherine Doyle
My main problem with this book is that NOBODY DIED AT THE END. Sure, Oonagh died, but literally, there was NO EMOTIONAL DAMAGE in the end. Celeste didn't die, Alarik didn't die, Tor didn't die, Shen didn't die, Kai didn't die, NOBODY DIED. UGH.
And I hate, just hate, that Wren chose Tor over Alarik. I love Alarik SO MUCH. And yet, and YET, he had to go back to Gevra, even though he sacrificed himself for Wren and didn't die. I think that it should've been Alarik and Wren, but I never get what I want, so bleh. No fair.
I am just so aggravated.
