I definitely loved the book it's seamless inclusion of queerness is amazing and makes it feel natural. As someone who loves the ancient world and mythology this made me happy. I loved how it seemed like Aiden took from Aztec mythos and other ancient mythos to create his own world and pantheon of gods. The world feels real and the characters are lovable. There is some romantic tension but a full romance is not developed in this book. I definitely recommend reading this for a good time but beware you could get your heart broken.
