Kala

Sensational I very nearly cried at the end of the book- it has been a long time since I’ve read a thriller that truly took my breath away this is such an accomplishment. I was so invested in the plot and to each of the characters, all of which were credibly flawed yet endearing. I could not put this down I so desperately wanted to understand what happened that it kept me gripped and low key trying to skip forwards in the hopes of giving myself spoilers. I appreciate that a lot of the plot lines were neatly tied up although I’m a fan of ambiguity leaving room for interpretation, kala desperately deserved the reader to know the circumstances behind her disappearance. Must read! Very comparable to Eliza Clarke’s Penance.
