I was a little frustrated with the pacing of this book. I thought the beginning was setting us up for several engaging, interesting, and thought provoking stories. Instead most of them were drawn out and fizzled by the end. I also think Finn and Mirande's story could have been completely removed with no impact to the book.
More minor thoughts: there were a lot of references throughout the book to other media that I thought were poorly explained if you weren't familiar with them already. I think that good editing could have done a lot for the book as a whole.
All of that being said, I would read another book by this author.
