You Know What You Did by K.T. Nguyen

3.0

3.5 ish stars! First half was a bit slow and repetitive, but what kept me engaged were the flashbacks to Annie's childhood with her mom. I thought the displays of OCD (I actually feel like I learned so much about disgust sensitivity OCD), generational trauma, and Me's experience as a Vietnamese immigrant, were really well done. As much as Annie didn't want to repeat her mom's mistakes you could see how much of her mom's behavior and mental health affected Annie to the point of, ultimately, repeating the cycle.

Wasn't the biggest fan of the ending. I feel like it was an easy way out and that there weren't any clues suggesting the culprit throughout the book, so I feel kinda cheated in a sense. Everything felt wrapped up too easily and perfectly, too quickly. Also Danielle if you're still with Ray...girl leave that man PLEASE.
