This was a phenomenal book about how Hitler came to power across the 1920s and 1930s and the process of turning Germany from a democracy to a dictatorship. It was haunting how many parallels we are seeing to this story around the world in 2022, and I thought this book provided a good wake up call that democracy is fragile and can be overtaken. Definitely a great read for our current times and I learned a lot from it.
