The Course of Love by Alain de Botton

4.0

This book is unlike any other book I've read.

It's a direct combination of fiction and non-fiction. We follow a couple and we look at their relationship from an insider's perspective, and on the other hand we get psychological explanations about love and how the couple's actions can be explained.

This is definitely not for everyone, and a lot of points are up for debate. I myself didn't agree with everything. It's not a perfect love story, it's filled with honesty and also hurt. I did like it however, and have learned a lot.
