It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth by Zoe Thorogood

5.0

I'm sort of new to reading graphic novels and comics. With that said, I am so happy I picked up this particular work. Zoe Thorogood is hilarious and really sad. The self-deprecation, the disregard for the fourth wall, the self-awareness; they all made this graphic memoir an amazing read.
Thorogood is good at showcasing mental health themes in her writing, and amazing at showcasing them in her art. The visuals in this memoir were insanely thought throughout, and they clearly matched Thorogood's mental state during the moments she recounts.
I am obsessed and I will be reading more of her works.
