Mundane

I took a break from this series because the first two books were so underwhelming. This installment wasn’t much better. The suspense was decent. I was interested in the theory that the ex or current wife did it. The big reveal fell flat. The villain’s motive was kinda lame. The good thing about this book is that it renewed my interest in the background mystery of what happened to Tessa’s childhood friend. I’ll have to stick with the series to follow that storyline. I know to keep my expectations low based on how weak the first three books have been.
