Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
5.0
CIRCA 2016:
Where do I start? Little Women is by far the best classic I've read. It has a powerful message and every little detail about it is beautiful. I really love this book and I 100% recommend this to everyone
JUNE 2020:
I loved this book so much that I highlighted & annotated it, which is something I never do. I cried thrice because the narration and characters brought so much warmth to my heart and reminded me a lot of my own family.
I also enjoyed the occasional first person opinions as well as having to read in between the lines. This style is refreshing for someone who is used to the dramatic and direct genre of YA.
I first read this four years ago, and would happily read it a thousand times more, for Little Women is a story

full of the genuine virtues which 'smell sweet, and blossom in the dust'
