Ali's Pretty Little Lies
by Sara Shepard
I just finished this book moments ago, and I am just a mess! It has been a very long time since I was so emotionally attached to a character. Before the big reveal in Wanted, I thought that 'Ali' was your stereotypical mean girl and I honestly couldn't stand her.
But in this book, I felt nothing but compassion for her. Every moment of fear, longing, and panic that Courtney felt, I felt also.
There were some things that really irked me about this book, one being the girls' parents. To me it seemed like the Dilaurentis' only cared about keeping appearances.
Next thing is the accomplice. For a while I've been thinking its Nick, but what if it is someone closer to the girls, perhaps Jason?
Overall this was a great book, it's quality reminds me of the first eight books, which in my opinion were written best. I honestly want to put an end to this A mess, bookwise and showwise. I think Ali is dead- at the end of this book she says that she will make the girls pay, even if it ends in her death. And I think her partner is the one torturing the girls in the final books.

Spoiler
For example at the end when, Mrs. Dilaurentis figures out that Ali has done something to her sister(from the paragraph in the book, it seemed like Mrs. D noticed Ali's gaze to the hole and put 2 and 2 together) her first reaction is to call up the Preserve and send Ali away. Why not have the workers attempt to remove the cement(it wasn't dry yet) and see if Courtney(ali) was there? Why send her back to the Preserve? It obviously didn't help her. If I were them I would've called the cops, but you know the Dilaurentis' can't have a flaw in their perfect family.Next thing is the accomplice.
