The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett

This was so much fun. The characters were all distinct, the writing was vibrant and humorous, and the mystery had my brain spinning in circles, trying to connect things like that meme with all the red string. (Is the guys name Charlie? I think it's Charlie). The fact that this murder mystery took place in a fantasy setting just made this story all the sweeter! Did I predict who the killer(s) were? Yes but I did not get the reasonings all correct and there were definitely some twists that made me go "Ooooooooooooh"
Anyway, highly recommend and now I am counting down the seconds for book 2.
