I have so many emotions reading this book the first couple hundred pages I did not like clay at all, because she was just mean and thinks the world involves around her. And second she was confused about her sexuality and her feelings towards Olivia. I understand that it is okay to be confused about your sexuality and what you like and don’t like, but to do what clay did. No ma’am. But going towards the end of the book her character grew on me as she got to know herself more and what she wanted. As for Olivia I knew deep down she had a soft spot, she didn’t want to let anyone in so she had her guard up protecting herself. She just wanted to feel belonged and be treated with respect even if she was gay. Her sexuality shouldn’t matter, respect people how you would want to be respected.
