Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz
4.0

I’ll be honest, I started this because I saw the movie. When I watched the movie, I didn’t know it was based off a book series. Once I found out, I knew I had to read it and I am so glad I did.

I love Odd as a character. He is unique (or odd, as his name would suggest) and I found him so endearing and I was so invested in his story. I appreciated the depth of his backstory that you gain in the book; knowing the upbringing that he had on this level made me like him even more.

I loved the way this story was constructed. It’s a twist on a paranormal thriller that really pulled me in and kept me hooked the whole way through. I’m really looking forward to reading the next book.
