“I’m writing a love poem,” I answer without thinking. Then I slam my lips together, realizing what I’ve done. Dead silence crashes over the kitchen. - Elle Kennedy

Another Bitchy Buddy Reads with Ell and Stacey. After ADORING book 1 in the off-campus series, I was really excited to get a Logan book. And whilst it did still deliver some light, lusty fun, it wasn’t quite as loveable as the story in The Deal.
Graces character started out pretty strong but as the book went on, she lost a lot of her quirks, her interests and became a little boring IMO. Logan was a lot more fleshed out with his family, hobbies and friends but was still missing that cheeky edge he had in The Deal.
I did like the task list part, I wish it had been a bit more of a thing, it could’ve added to the plot. There wasn’t much college in this book, other than the canteen scene - which was great, we needed more of that! Ramona was toxic as hell, it frustrated me that it all just blew over.
Overall, I guess it was what I expected coming into the Off-Campus series but it let book 1 down.
Minor: Alcoholism and Toxic friendship
