emilymazzara 's review for:
The Scribe
by Elizabeth Hunter
I cannot express enough how much I love this book. It had been on my reading list for quite a while and I cannot believe I didn’t pick it up sooner. I’m going to write a full review on my blog but here’s the basics:
Malachi and Ava are both beautifully well developed, loveable, and relatable characters. Even though their lives are beyond anything most of us have experienced and there is magic involved, their problems still come across as relatable.
The setting work is amazing. Every aspect of the world is well thought out and placed in the setting with purpose which makes the unreal parts of the world that much more believable.
I would seriously recommend this book to anyone and personally cannot wait to start the next one in the series.
