I received an advance review copy for free from Karina Halle, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoyed this one, the characters are really lovable. The writing flows really nicely and you fly through it, especially with how much it has you hooked in, it leaves you so eager to find out what happens at every turn because there is always something going on. Watching them grow throughout and become these stronger characters, that form an even stronger bond, was really fascinating. The plot was really enjoyable, with a great layer of tension throughout, with the added layer of relief in the most perfect of places. I did ruin it for myself slightly by reading it a bit on and off at the start, but that is entirely on me and not the author/book. In other words, another Karina Halle book that I have absolutely loved and adored, will forever be an automatic buy author to me.
