First off: Happy Birthday, Steve Rogers!!
This was a wonderful introduction! I’m curious to see how far Marvel will let Coates go with the political themes but I hope they give him free reign. They made the right choice letting Coates repair what Spencer broke.
Captain America should stand for the people and, in Cap’s own words “the strong protect the weak”. Cap stands for the oppressed and that’s precisely what he’s trying to do in this book.
So, bravo and I look forward to seeing where Coates takes us.
