This book is called a modern classic for a reason, I think everyone should read it when they have the chance.

That being said - I was not completely invested in this book. The book is constantly jumping between the present and the past, which left me feeling a bit disoriented about the plot. A lot of the book also felt like fluff to lengthen it.

The ending was a bit of a disappointment. After all the events of the book, it just fell flat. It left me very unsatisfied and frustrated.

Despite these few small complaints, the book was interesting. While I may not have been attached to the characters, it was a very interesting read.
