4.5

Though it ends with loose threads, I found The Bog Wife to be an enjoyable and perplexing read. Not quite a fever-dream but steeped in similar elements, it reveals the history of the Haddesley family only for readers to discover that history was never really true. For centuries, they've lived in harmony with the land, but now they need to find a new way to coexist.
