When I first started reading, I wasn't that into it. The writing felt staccato and flowed weirdly, but after only a few chapters that stopped and every word came naturally. The writing style just took a few pages to get used to.

and from there I fell in love. The descriptions, with Patroclus, with Achilles, and much more. There's heartbreak, and love, and anger, and happiness, and too many feelings to name. All of it at once. I... Now that I've finished the book, all I'm left with is a sense of contendedness, which I cannot say I feel after many books.

Absolutely loved it. At a loss for words to describe exactly what this book made me feel, and what I'm feeling now seconds after I put it down.
