Keeping You by Alex Taylor

4.0

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?
Ohh boy, that's so not true when you come home married after too many drinks and can't remember a thing about that night.
Hannah wakes up finding herself married to the one man she now can't stand (due to their previous past), and as soon as she realises what happened she wants an annulement. He doesn't.
He spent the last couple of years wanting her, and now that he has her, even through a mistake, he doesn't want to let her go. So he compromises with giving their marriage 3 months to try and make her fall in love with him. She agrees to just shut him up at the time and starts to try to make him miserable. But she just fails, and fails big time.
He was a true sweetheart. He really cared for her, and made sure to give her and provide for her in every way. He just wanted to make sure she was safe and cared and happy, and it trully showed in all his actions.
I do love the nickname he gives her (Spitfire). It truly was the perfect thing to describe her and her sassyness.
He kind of shows her his true self and how much she means to him and little by little all her walls start to crumble with his TLC.
What will she choose whem the time they have established passes? Can she go back to the way things were before?
I also loved the found family vibe, with both previous characters and then the new ones. It was heartwarming to see them belong so well in the heart of true family and friends.
I have to be honest.. the miscommunication thing is not my cup of tea in any story, but I'm into giving it a try if the rest of the tropes and story call to me. This one had a big issue between main characters that changes all their perception and made them the way they were at the begining. I get were why it was there, but I can't seem to like it either way. But.... besides that, I really liked the book and story, and I had a enjoyable time reading this book. I'll be looking forward to the next one (Matt and Zoey, I believe)!
