Honestly I wouldn't have liked this book at all if it weren't for the Epilogue. The Epilogue gives you such big payoffs for the whole book that there is satisfaction there.
I just didn't think the writing was that good like "driving her bonkers," or "gone on forever," or "that went on for awhile. It sounds a little lazy, like if you don't go back and revise enough. " I expected more from a bestselling author.
I'm a sucker for mother/daughter psychodramas--in that area it delivers 100%!
