Walden by Henry David Thoreau
3.0

Initially I wanted to write a sarcastic review about how I could have written a better book, in ancient Greek, or even Ugaritic (all the best poets should be able to read cuneiform), and that everything I do is better than everything everyone else ever does. But, as I continued to read, HDT and I both grew up a little bit and mellowed out, and we stopped comparing ourselves so much to others and judging them, and we started enjoying the world around us a bit more, reflecting on existence, celebrating learning, and rejoicing in nature. Also, my lake is bigger and deeper than his.
