Never mind the discussion about whether it's a great, dark, whimsical, modern short story (it is) or whether the art is a perfect match for the prose (it is). Those are beside the point. Think about the best cup of coffee you've ever had (mine is a home-made Taormina from Caffe d'Arte beans) or the best beer (Trappist Rochefort 10 or Westvleteren XII, tied) or the best Scotch if that's what you drink. Think about how you felt when you finished it.

That's how I felt when I finished this. That's what matters.
Go and buy it. You will read it many, many times. I know I plan to.
