Mini-Review:
There's a big werewolf pack meeting in town, but bodies are piling up with all signs pointing to werewolves. Jade gets thrown into situation and she must use her magic to defend herself & figure out what is going on.
Action kicks up a notch in this book. More questions are added to the Why pile and there are a handful of answers that lead to more questions.
I still like the side characters in the story, but I don't like Jade. She's rather incompetent and I have a hard time believing that she was able to keep herself safe from Samir for years. The GameLit vibe is still cool. However, the series is full of plot holes and the holes are getting bigger with each book I read.
I may be in the wrong mood for these stories. Maybe I'll come back and try the rest some day.
