svrvsky 's review for:
Butler is prophetic and this sequel delve into deeper traumas of the not so distant dystopian world of the earthseed series. Lauren is a phenomenal main character however this book was a lot for me to stomach. I wished there had been more moments of brevity spread within the pages like the first book but also I feel butler’s strength is that she writes the way it needs to be told
