Shambolic! I loved the premise of this book which promised to be a true crime book that would reveal a way that every day readers could become involved in solving cold case crimes. However, to me it felt like a mix of rambling personal journal entries promoting the author’s “clever” tactics for finding witnesses or people who could identify perpetrators from CCTV evidence, and the Facebook posts used to achieve this end. Since it followed chronological activities by case rather than focusing in cohesive stories it felt rambling and disjointed. I feel annoyed that I used my reading time to finish it rather than relegating it to my DNF pile as I was so sorely tempted to do many times during my reading.
