Arrival Stories: Women Share Their Experiences of Becoming Mothers by Christy Turlington Burns, Amy Schumer

4.0

Very fascinating to read such a vast collection of birth experiences. I liked this collection's focus on found family - with many stories of birth outside of marriage or the merging of households, etc. I also naturally loved the inclusion of a photo at the ends of most of the stories. I loved seeing the range of reactions to motherhood/pregnancy/birth, and how motherhood fit in these women's lives in conjunction to their careers.
