October Mourning: A Song for Matthew Shepard by Lesléa Newman

2.0

It pains me because I felt more reading the letter from Matthew’s mother and the note at the beginning and end of the book, written by the author herself in order to give context to her writing and how she faced the dreadful day.

The poems, though? I found maybe two that I liked. The others didn’t give me anything at all and I’m so sad
