The author Mrs.Deoradhan has truly outdone herself by writing a Gladiator romantasy that definitely pays homage to the epic Gladiator movie with it's fiery betrayals,winner take all arena fights,and an enemy that is a ruthless manipulator.
The fmc Dru is resourceful, clever,and an expert fighter that should never be underestimated. There's an epic fight scene where Dru faces off against a mighty animal that had me on the edge of my seat.🔥
The mmc Marcus is humble,kind,and brave just like the male main character from the Gladiator movie. I immediately thought about the are you not entertained? movie reference whenever Marcus went all out with his combat skills.
The slow burn second chance romance never felt rushed,and the will they won't they spicy tension moments are definitely not fade to black.
The Roman empire inspired mythology,and history is very well-executed especially with the unique traditions, and customs.The country of Anziano is a beautiful place that hides many secrets.
The court intrigue is incredible,and Cato the king is a very interesting character.The plot twist at the end of the story left me speechless, and Mrs.Deoradhan knows how to capture the reader's attention.🙌
