Gosh I wasn't going to read this bc I found Liz so insufferable in the other books but I thought I'd give it a try bc the Irish accent on audiobook is amazing. She grew on me then I wanted to just bash her head in the end. The author does an excellent job describing bipolar disorder but it doesn't make the fmc's actions less frustrating. Hugh is just an angel he deserves the world. I love the fight he had with his mom he's so articulate. He really understands Liz and was there for her through the most and she had to go be dumb I can't. All the problems of all these characters could be solved by just communicating all their trauma, but that's what makes them like flawed young well developed characters you gotta love (hate) it.
