Lost Feather
by Merri Bright
*I’d recommend this book for fans of Raven Kennedy, Ivy Asher, Kristy Cunning, Colette Rhodes and Kadence Snow*
Wow. Just, wow. This book really has everything I could have wanted. The story is beautiful, unique, funny, and heartbreaking. The plot is intriguing and kept me captivated as it unfolded. I couldn’t put it down. I’m a little stingy with my 5* ratings, saving them for books that really impress me and this one did that in spades. I got mad, I laughed, I cried. Feather is a sweet and humorous main character, I love the different Angels that we meet. The world building is so creative. I’m not usually a celestial genre consumer, but this was just a wonderful all around read. Highly recommend.
The book ends on a cliff hanger, but it’s a natural breaking point in the story and a good segue into the next book. I would not consider it a major cliffhanger as nobody is in immediate peril. It’s more that we got a lot of really important information right at the end and then now we have to wait for book 2 for the fallout of that. There are a LOT of unanswered questions so plenty to delve into in book 2
