Genuine Fraud
by E. Lockhart
This book was simply alright. It was a mystery that had me intrigued but I wasn’t dying to figure out the mysteries themselves. Once you found them out they were very anticlimactic. I was surprised that she absolutely didn’t know Imogen at all before starting this scam. That was shocking to know that everything she told us in the beginning was a complete lie. I was intrigued enough to finish this book but it wasn’t as well done as I was hoping it would be. The backwards chapters was such a nice touch and something I’ve never seen before. I also loved that she put that last chapter in so we actually knew what happened to her and that now her obsession with Imogen is completely over.
Things I learned:
- kind of would like to use a fake name when meeting someone just once for the thrill of it
