I picked this one up because it will soon be in the theatres as a movie starring lots of lovely actors including Benedict Cumberbatch. I found the start a bit slow due mainly to my aversion to the topic and the explicitness and reality of his experience. Once I got into it, however, I was enthralled by his day-to-day experiences and the sheer cruelty of what he survived.
