• not quite as good as the most recent installment but I still liked it.
  could tell Jack wasn’t actually a traitor since his loyalty toward Michael and the Clan has been on display since book 1 but I liked seeing how it affected the characters.
  I didn’t enjoy the whole Team Alpha plot as much as the main plot
  , with Cassy finding love with Jax, just for him to die by the end. I liked Cassy in the earlier books but in these she’s just here for added drama most of the time, then to realize she’s wrong for acting how she does toward michael, and then she dies.
  I enjoyed this book but i feel like books 8 and 9 should have just been one book really. Seems like splitting them up for no REAL reason was somewhat of a cash grab from RPE.
