This book rips your heart out stomps on it and then pieces it back together. So many tears. The Sunday morning series is a force all its own. This will be my top read for 2025. Eve and Kyle were heart wrenching yet delicious. Grandma Bonnie is pure genius. "My grandma says the sweetest people can eat the tartest apples. My grandpa never could eat them; she said it was because he was a grump. I guess we know what this says about you." This is age gap, single dad, preachers daughter, grumpy/sunshine. Definitely singing The Apple Trees praises!
