Just meh. Was gripping enough that I wanted to keep reading, but overall it was unsatisfying. Christian's choices early on were annoying, and I thought maybe they'd make sense in the end but they didn't. A couple of red herrings, which is fine, and then the big twist was bland. I thought it was going to go in a different, perhaps more tragic direction which almost made me gasp and got me excited, but the actual story ended up disappointing.

On the plus side, it was an easy, fast, and moderately entertaining read on the moment.
